Just a note to thank you for your excellent performance at our 1997 General Managers Conference. The entertainment committee received numerous compliments on your show. Your magic tricks and humor definitely played well to the audience. One of the strong points of the entertainment was your subtle humor that had everybody laughing. Especially the joke about "You have one of those in your billfold ...".
Feel free to use me as a reference in the future. It is my understanding that one of our divisions has already tried to book you for a Christmas party. Your portfolio will be placed in an entertainment file for future reference.
